I generally provide a free telephone consultation. The purpose of the consultation is to determine if I can assist you and if so on what terms. I will not give you legal advice regarding the merits of your case or the patentability of your invention unless you pay me to perform the task. My hourly rates vary according to the person performing the work and the nature of the task. I evaluate each situation on a case by case basis. Most tasks require advance retainers. I set the amount of the retainer according to the task.
